Great Place; Perfect Stay; Highly Recommended August 2017

I booked Lost Bear Cabin that would serve have enough room for 9 adults on a weekend getaway. We were looking for something relaxing that would serve as a jump-off point for some cycling, rafting, and some general exploring of the Laurel Highlands.

Location was great. Close enough to the Turnpike that those driving from out of town were able to navigate it easily but still very secluded with tons of privacy.

House is brand new and you can tell (in a good way). Very clean, spacious and extremely well thought out. There's clearly enough room on the property and in the basement for additions so it will be exciting to see what the owners add to the property over time.

The beds were large and comfortable. All of the bedrooms were impressive and the bathrooms were very nice. Three of our adults even decided to use the bunk-beds and were very comfortable despite each of them being over 6'2.

The main room is spacious and comfortable, with a great adjourning kitchen that's easy to use. The outside deck is likely the best part of this house. High ceiling allows you to enjoy the outdoors in all weather, and the lighting and outdoor sound system allowed us to use the area for all of our meals. The fire table is a nice addition, but was a little finicky to use at times.

The fire pit is a great place to gather at night. Custom fire pit was a nice touch, but the stone seating was impressively thoughtful. The pit is located just far enough away from the house that those enjoying the firepit have a bit of privacy from those staying on the porch, yet close enough to keep an eye on everyone.

Large back and front yards for games and activities. Really enjoyed our stay and got to meet the owners on our way out. Very pleasant and easy to communicate with.

I would highly recommend this to anyone with a large group of people looking for space, seclusion but also convenience to things like white-water rafting, skiing, Fallingwater, etc...
