Our large family (7 adults, 5 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hideaway. Each of the rooms are tastefully decorated, and the house is very clean and organized. Linens are plentiful, and all of the rooms even had extra throw blankets and pillows. We enjoyed exploring the land, playing yard games, cards on the covered deck, and sitting around the campfire! There is even a fire pit on the deck, which was perfectly located after the kids had gone to bed! While the listing does indicate that certain disposable household necessities are provided (paper plates, utensils, cups, soap, garbage bags, etc etc etc), we were quite pleasantly surprised at the quantity and quality of these items supplied! Touches and amenities like this are so generously offered throughout the house, and they really helped to make our stay effortless. We agree with another reviewer regarding the thermostat - sometimes it is a bit tricky to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the house. A home of this size with ceiling heights as they are - it's probably not unusual, but just something to keep in mind when you're picking a bedroom. As well, the home has several televisions available for viewing, but satellite options prevent too many viewers at once. Occasionally we found ourselves wandering around the house to figure out which televisions were not properly turned off - we aren't used to satellite, so this was also a bit of a learning curve! All in all, a minor issue when most of us weren't there to watch television anyway. The home is indeed quite lovely and provides a gorgeous setting to make lasting family memories. We highly recommend!
